I love sitting at the counter in front of the giant window. The window is like a moving canvas, and I watch people go by while I work. On sunny days, a gentle breeze is the highlight. I have meetings, talk with friends, or sometimes just sit and suck in the aroma of freshly baked bread. When a friend walks past the window, I strike up a conversation, which often times leads to new ideas.

The city has become a place where people have gathered from throughout the world, all desiring something. It feels as if this new center of Tokyo, with the excessive mixture of various energies, isn't a part of "Tokyo" anymore, but a fictional place created by its residents. People say residents of Tokyo are not the friendliest, but if you go to the traditional "Shita-machi" neighborhoods you will meet "Edokko" locals full of passion and personality.
