AKAGI SHRINE
An old shrine established in 1555 renovated to modern design by architect Kengo Kuma. This place is one of my favorite shrines due to its clean cut, white energy. A rare shrine that is open to adapt to modern society while preserving the old.

Well-known garden of the feudal lord in the Edo period. It is designed according to scenes in famous 'waka' poems. This place is a nice getaway from the city within the city: Old trees, Japanese structures, singing birds, relaxed people.
