I founded my company in 2001 as a place to create "playgrounds" in the fields of fashion, architecture, music, design, art and food. I started my career as a buyer at ISETAN, one of the premier department stores in Japan, which led to many friends and connections in the fashion industry. TRANSIT's first business was in catering, then we created collaboration cafes with famous fashion brands, and now have produced and managed over 60 shops.

CITY SHOP
CITY SHOP is like all of modern Tokyo condensed into one building, directed by my friend Yoshii-san. The first floor has a deli full of organic vegetables, and the second floor is a select shop with unique items. There are 15 different choices in the deli, and you can pick either five from the line up or have a salad instead. Before I leave, I always check the new items from MR.GENTLEMAN, an apparel brand I've recently developed a taste for.
