The unassuming Nezu Museum is located in the bustle of Omotesando and Aoyama, as a hidden gem in the luxury retailer neighbourhood. The striking bamboo entrance designed by architect Kengo Kuma is a personal favourite, and inside, the gallery space presents beautiful artworks of the Chinese dynasty era and Japanese traditional artworks, all from the private collection of Nezu himself. Outside, you’ll also find an extraordinary contemplative and tranquil Japanese garden. A space unlike no other in Tokyo.
