One of the few vintage item shops in Tokyo that I feel has a true concept. The fact that both fashion and art is all stuffed in one small shop also gives it a distinct "Japan" feel. The shop gives me inspiration for work too, and I find something I want every time I come here!

My local shop. I've been living in Meguro for six years now, and the fact I can relax here is very important. The Meguro River nearby brings this slow, warm sense of time, which adds to the atmosphere of the place. They serve all kinds of drinks, but is heaven for beer lovers.

I am originally from Osaka, so I feel Tokyo is also a good mixture of new & old things. You can see this in the fashion industry too. Meguro, where I live, is a great example of this mix. It is very "Tokyo-like" but is also filled with nature, and I really feel at home when I'm there.
