When I was a student, I used to go to Jimbocho to buy pamphlets of old Western movies, American comics and subculture books.
I've always loved American superheroes like Spiderman and Batman since childhood and this is how I discovered @Wonder, by wandering around Jimbocho. This area became the foundation of my current way of thinking and a real inspiration for my work. A word that I use as my motto is ‘Onkochishin’ (温故知新), it means ‘going back to the root of things, and from that discovering new wisdom’.
