Ichibangai is a tiny street in Shimokitazawa, with multiple cafes, vintage shops, a bookstore, a record store, homemade ice cream, an aged-foods specialist, a gallery, and a newspaperman who walks his bird. Yet the star of the street for me is Flower Bar Gardena: a flower shop and night bar, it’s everything I love about Shimokitazawa, home of the dreamy entrepreneur.
