Search for the red sign “バー十月” in G2 street in Shinjuku Golden Gai. Bar Jugatsu is known as a gathering place for young and experienced painters, photographers, musicians, and editors of all ages. This place is very homely to me. I was encouraged by my former university teacher to exhibit here, and I’ve been tied to this place for two years now. ‘You need to go and figure out the world’. It inspired me to go abroad to show my work outside of Japan.
