Hypebeast and poweredby.tokyo were invited to Takashi Murakami’s massive atelier / production warehouse north of Tokyo along with his office in Nakano to document his creative process and workflow and the story behind how he and Vans came together to create the iconic set of Vans slip-on sneakers.
