A brilliant example of classical Tokyo architecture but it’s the films they show are what makes this place unique. They have features on certain directors, events where you go on all night movie marathons, a week where all the movies are classics from a certain era; basically, always fun and inspiring! It's a special place where I can relax and enjoy some time alone.

Lambre is an old fashioned 'kissaten' style Japanese cafe. They serve delicious coffee, cinnamon toast, and cakes. Classical music is plays in the background, and I feel like I can stay here forever. The seats, tables, interior, everything is so sweet, and you truly feel like you've slipped back in time.

GOUTOKUJI TEMPLE

The maneki-neko at this temple are so cute, and you can actually buy some, along with amulets and 'ema' (wooden plaques) with maneki-neko prints. The trees and flowers are in varying colors depending on the season, and it's such a beautiful place. I come here to take pictures, or just sit and relax. One of my favorite spots.
