Born and raised in Aomori prefecture, I graduated from cosmetology school and have been a hair stylist ever since. In 2013, I opened my shop, Speakeasy Saloon Beautysmith. I also have various other projects; I direct the cosmetics brand Coolgrease Superior, I do tile work for Speakeasy Tile Craftsman, and am part of the gentleman's club Master of Mustache.

Mr. Hinai, known by his artist name "nuts", is a friend from back in high school. He is one of Japan's finest and most famous freehand sign painters. He has done signage and graphics for numerous shops and brands, and painters from around the world come to visit his gallery. I am impressed every time by his work, which crosses over styles reflecting various countries, eras, fonts and art forms. His imagination is limitless, and I am super excited for his future work.

People equate custom insoles with professional athletes, but Ken's goal is to make it available to all individuals. I'm also excited for his new project, a shoe line that will bring the most out of his custom insoles.
