I’d literally lived across the street for nearly a year before venturing downstairs into the underground Gigabar to find a live band in session. Before long, I realized it was much more than just a bar with a band as, one by one, the otherwise seemingly typical salarymen got on stage to unleash some incredible performances, absolutely murdering guitar solos from the likes of Slayer and Jimi Hendrix.
